Belfast songwriter Andy White and his school friend, keyboard player and producer Rod McVey played all of Andy's debut album for this live recording premiered on Youtube, December 4, 2022.

It's a rare occasion that the Belfast songwriter plays all the songs back-to-back. The concert is dedicated to Brendan McGarrity, who drummed on the original album, Mudd Wallace who engineered it, and BBC DJ Janice Long, a long-time friend of Andy's—as he says, "without whom none of you might have heard it". Rest in peace, all three.

Rave on Andy White was recorded in "a field in County Antrim" and released in 1986. Melody Maker screamed "Yer man is brilliant" and Andy followed the album around the world. It has scathing contemporary wit and layers of timeless Irish romanticism. The songs respect tradition while applying punk attitude to an acoustic guitar. It definitely wears its heart on its sleeve.

This recording is exclusive to Andy's Bandcamp site, and the digital download of the album contains an extra bonus track, an alternative version of I Will Wait that wasn't included in the filmed version of the concert.
